DESCRIPTION –
Gulf Western Industrial Gear Oils are high-performance industrial gear lubricants formulated to provide reliable lubrication and protection under demanding operating conditions. The oils are designed to deliver high extreme-pressure (EP) performance and load-carrying capacity, providing effective protection of gear teeth and other heavily loaded components against wear, scuffing, and surface damage.
The formulation incorporates advanced sulfur-phosphorus additive technology to provide enhanced anti-wear and EP protection. The additive system also contributes to reduced friction between interacting gear surfaces, helping to minimise mechanical losses and heat generation. This supports cooler gear operation, improved transmission efficiency, and enhanced component reliability.
Gulf Western Industrial Gear Oils provide excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, helping maintain lubricant performance during extended operating periods and at elevated operating temperatures. The oils also incorporate corrosion-inhibiting and rust-preventive properties to protect ferrous and other metallic components from moisture-related deterioration.
Additional formulation characteristics include good demulsibility, enabling rapid separation of water from the lubricant, and effective anti-foam performance to minimise excessive foam formation during high-speed or heavily agitated operating conditions. These properties contribute to consistent lubrication, improved oil film integrity, and reliable equipment operation.
