OPEN GEAR LUBE range is a specially formulated high-performance, extreme pressure lubricant designed for use on open gears and other highly loaded components. It is manufactured from high viscosity oil, solid lubricants, and carefully selected additives. Open Gear Lube is a premium grade, adhesive, residual compounded, extreme pressure multi- purpose open gear lubricant suited for heavily loaded open gears, semi-closed gears on mining shovels, draglines and excavator equipment commonly found in underground or surface mines and quarries. It is a selected blend of high-quality base fluids, anti-wear, extreme pressure additives, antioxidants, molybdenum disulfide, solid lubricants, and corrosion inhibitors. Its strong adhesive film resists squeeze out, allowing the product to cling tenaciously to gears; recommended for equipment operating under the most punishing conditions and in the most hostile environments.
